To create this restaurant rebrand, I was required to choose a local restaurant in my Uptown, Chicago neighborhood that was in need of a new look. I  chose a local Chinese restaurant whose branding did not reflect their delicious food.

To begin, I created a series of 10 preliminary, hand-drawn sketches of possible rebrand ideas.

Once meeting with the client, we narrowed it down to the top three logos that I then converted them to digital versions using Adobe Illustrator. After reviewing the logos pictured to the left, the client decided on the design located at the bottom right.

I then refined the design to be simpler, more legible, and memorable. Subsequently, using Adobe InDesign I generated mockups that properly display how the rebrand is intended to be used in varous settings.
